2010 SXSW Film/AIGA Austin Film Poster Awards

This year I was lucky enough to participate in the 2010 SXSW/AIGA Austin Film  poster awards. This was the second year of this contest. Now apart of the SXSW Film Design Awards, which has awards for both “Excellence in Title Design” and “Excellence in Poster Design.”

While I didn’t win, I feel so inspired by all the amazing design that was part of the show. It is truly amazing to see the quality of work being created for the independent film scene.

Poster Showcase (Jan 2010)

This months Poster showcase is for a film I was lucky enough to be involved with.  THE ART OF THE STEAL is the latest documentary by Don Argott &  9.14 Pictures (Rock School, Two Days in April) that tells the story of Dr. Albert C. Barnes and struggle over his mult-billion dollar art collection housed at the Barnes Foundation in Philly.   Read More
